At our first workshop at the Kala Ghoda Arts festival we introduced Van Gogh’s art to our young audience. Stories on the Sunflowers and the various versions he painted came together at this fabulous event. Details such as number of flowers in each artwork, varied backdrops and how the world war impacted the Japanese version all came alive here. The thick impasto strokes inspired the young artists to create their own version of these beautiful flowers to take home with them.
